Connecting
One of the most important things we do as a church family is fellowship. Often fellowship is just seen as social events. However, at First Baptist, we see fellowship as creating opportunities for people to connect with others in a deep and meaningful way. As we break bread and enjoy each other’s company, we will laugh together, cry together, pray with and for each other, support and nurture one another and really be that family of God that the church is designed to be. We invite you to get to know us through our many opportunities to connect with people on a deep and spiritual level. Below are the up-coming fellowship opportunities.
.- Talent Show - February
Come and enjoy an evening of entertainment coming right from our own congregation. It is a fun time for all of us to get together and celebrate the gifts we have been given.
- The Feast of St. Patrick - March 18, 7:00 pm
Irish Jokes, poetry and wisdom; Irish music, Irish attitude, Irish food - on this night we celebrate all things Irish as we enjoy a meal, livly entertainment as well as each other's company. This event is a fund-raiser for some of the projects we want to do this year so we will be sellling tickets and auctioning off some desert.
- Easter Breakfast and Easter Egg Hunt - April 8
Its our annual Easter Breakfast, Sunday morning at 9:00 am. Then, following the service, the kids will be let loose to hunt for Easter Eggs in our courtyard. What a great way to celebrate together.
