Skaggs Memorial Chapel

The L.S. Skaggs Memorial Chapel at First Baptist Church was dedicated in 1954. The Skaggs family has given substantial support to First Baptist and the Chapel was named in their honor. The chapel is an integral part of the church and is available to all faiths and denominations for weddings and funerals.

Our Chapel has seating for 115. If you require a larger space, our Wedding Coordinator may have other options for you, including the use of our beautiful courtyard for a memorable outdoor ceremony.

First Baptist Church, of which the Skaggs Memorial Chapel is a part, makes its facilities available without profit for weddings. However, there are items of expense to the church which are recouped through the fees charged for your wedding. Details concerning booking and policies for the use of the premises are available through our Wedding Coordinator. Be sure to book early! Financial arrangements need to be made and deposits paid at least one month prior to your wedding.
