Children & Youth Programs

First Baptist church strives to be an intergenerational church where several generations of families have come to raise their children up in faith. There are programs for people of all ages and many opportunities to be engaged with peers as well as cross-generationally.

Children's Program

Children are always welcome at church -- they're an important part of our church family. We invite them to be a part of our worship service and encourage them to participate. Your children may remain in the sanctuary for the entire service or to join the Children’s praise club after the Children’s sermon.

Our goals in all of our programs for young people is to encourage the children to connect to God’s love for them and to enjoy the adventure of being part of the family of God.

Nursery Care is provided on Sunday from 9:30 am until after the service at noon.

Children’s Praise Club is for preschool and elementary age children which meet in the Sunday school wing in room 208 during the sermon time.

Our children enjoy familiar Bible stories, quality Christian children’s literature, and experiential learning as we learn about God’s love for us through art, music, drama, and play.
