About Our Wedding Chapel

The Skaggs Memorial Wedding Chapel was built to be a place where people of all faiths could come and celebrate their covenant of marriage in a beautiful space. The Chapel seats 115 and features an intimate reception room and a courtyard for outdoor events.

The chapel is conveniently located in the downtown area, close to the University of Utah and has ample parking.

If you are thinking of getting married in Salt Lake City we would love to show you the space and help you plan for your special day.

Our Chapel and Services

Our chapel is a beautiful, stained-glass space with vaulted architecture and plenty of seating for guests. Eating, drinking, and party areas are spacious and can be set up and decorated according to the couple's wedding plans.

We also have a resident organist who has a selection of music appropriate for the wedding ceremony, and they would be happy to assist you in finding music that reflects your unique feelings about your ceremony.

Additionally, our location provides adequate parking for you and your guests.

Bride's Room

Our bride’s room is bright and airy and provides a lovely private space in which the bride can relax and prepare with friends and family for their perfect entrance into the chapel.

We also have a groom's dressing room for other friends and family to gather to prepare for the ceremony.

Wedding Coordinator

Our services are flexible and we include a bridal consultant for your convenience.

Coordinators are happy to help you with all details related to the church and the ceremony, and they will also help you locate other trusted vendors for any other needs you may have.
